Fortune Falls, by Jenny Goebel, is all about bad luck, good luck, superstitions, and more. Walk past a ladder, not under it. Sadie Bleeker is what many people in this town call an unlucky. This means that most of the things that she does will have a bad outcome, no matter how hard she tries.
She then breaks a mirror and needs a plan to escape her dark fat. Keeper of the Lost Cities, by Shannon Messenger. In this book series there are seven books but there is known to be at least eight to nine. Last but certainly not least, this is a fantastic, adventurous book and you should definitely read it. Unschooled, by Alan Woodrow.
I enjoyed this book because I liked how it gave different perspectives from different characters in different chapters. Such as one chapter it was one character and the next it was another. Having different perspectives in different chapters made it suspenseful because of the cliffhangers at the end of chapters, which made you read more, so you could see what happens next. Also, in the book the two main characters get in a fight and get put on different teams for a big competition and try to do bad things to each other because the principal offered a big prize for the winning team.
All in all I definitely recommend this book. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. There are a lot of things to like about the book, but we'll start with adventure. Islands filled with danger lurking in every corner, Percy must survive it all. One last thing, if you like learning about Greek mythology, Percy Jason and the Lightning Thief is what you need. All in all, this is a 5 out of 5 star book, so if you're ever wondering what to read next, now you know.
